Cheapest Car Insurance
There’s a question which is usually posited by all drivers at some point, and that’s the question of whether the cheapest car insurance is actually worth it or not. Some will believe that it’s fantastic value for money because it’s so cheap, whilst others believe that because it’s so cheap, it can’t offer much protection. The people that fall into the latter category would rather pay the extra for the added peace of mind that comes with it, than be left with insurance which they think will give less protection. However, in some ways that view is misguided. Not all of the cheapest car insurance policies are poor value for money and – as long as you know which ones to steer clear of – they can provide adequate protection for both you and your family.

The cheapest car insurance is usually third party insurance rather than comprehensive insurance. This is because the extras that are included in comprehensive insurance are usually the ones that policyholders claim on. For example, third party insurance will cover someone else’s car if you hit them in a collision, but it will not cover any damage to yours. As such, you’ll have to get your car fixed at your own expense, while the insurer will pay for the damage to the other car. This could ultimately prove rather expensive for you if your car is quite damaged.
Luckily, some of the cheapest car insurance policies around today are also comprehensive. Prices are starting to come down due to the competitive nature of the insurance market today. As such, it is imperative that you check out all of the policies in order to see what kinds of prices are available for you.
